♦ Exhibit at County &/or State Fair
♦ Plan & Prepare a menu
♦ Model clothes you make or buy
♦ Share your talents—act, sing, dance, play an instrument
♦ Train your dog
♦ Hone in your shooting sports skills
♦ Show animals
♦ And so much more!

4-H gives youth a chance to:

♦ Learn new things
♦ Develop new skills
♦ Travel to new places
♦ Experience new situations
♦ Make new friends
♦ And most importantly....Have lots of fun!!!

What Makes 4-H Different?

4-H is unique because it is the only youth organization tied to the research base of our nation's land-grant university system. This connection allows the University of Minnesota Extension staff and the volunteers they work with to receive training based on the most up-to-date research on youth development theory and practice.

How Often and Where Do 4-H Clubs Meet?

♦ Most clubs meet once a month
♦ Two clubs currently meet in Cosmos, the Cosmos Comets and the Danielson Hustlers
♦ You can join any time of the year
